Windsurfing: Worthing Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: F6 Surf / Sea State: Waist high + Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Sea Lane cafe down at the Ferring end of Worthing for me, 1pm til 2:30.
Checked Shoreham (no-one out, off shore, shoredump) then Lancing (offshore,
but still shorebreak and wind shadow) then onto Worthing through more
traffic lights and xmas bloody shoppers than you can imagine.
Thankfully, in front of the cafe was obviously cranking from just a brief
glance over the beach. 5m weather and good swell. Easy launch from upwind
of the big groyne.
So nice conditions, waves in the waist to chest range I guess. Down the
line was pretty tricky despite cross shore wind direction as the waves were
a bit unpredictable/uncooperative to put it mildly. One or two turns and
cut backs possible. Good loopage from Steve Waller and Jonny Hiutchcroft
